History

The Kumasi District Branch of the Association of Methodist Church Choirs, Ghana was formed at a Conference held in April of the same year, which gave mandate to Brothers K.O. Bedu-Addo and J.P. Quagraine, who were among the delegates to the Conference to organize the Kumasi District Association, then comprising both the Ashanti and Brong-Ahafo Regions of Ghana. With the assistance of Brother Sam A. Boison, who also attended the Accra Conference, he successfully organised and brought together eighty-six (86) Choristers from ten (10) out of the fourteen (14) Circuits in the District.
